He follows certain principles in editing and evaluating hadith and textual criticism. Albāni in the study of each hadith first looks for the text of hadith in reliable books and once he trust the citation of hadith in the reliable books of hadith he attempts to evaluate it and if he finds it is authentic he believes it is necessary to evaluate the text by referring to certain principles, such as agreement with the holy Qurān or tradition or reason and experience. This article attempts to introduce and explain Albāni’s method in critiquing texts of hadith and it shows at the same time that his method in some cases is not reliable. شیخ ناصرالدین البانی، یکی از تأثیرگذارترین و پرکارترین مؤلفان حدیث پژوه اهل سنت در عصر حاضر و متعلق به مکتب سلفی، با رویکردی جدید در نقد متن است. وی مبانی خاصی در تصحیح و تضعیف احادیث و نقد متن دارد. البانی در بررسی هر حدیث، نخست اقدام به جست وجوی متن حدیث از کتب معتبر می کند و در صورت اعتماد به وجود متن آن در کتب روایی معتبر، به ارزش-گذاری آن اهتمام می ورزد و اگر صحت سند حدیث برای او احراز شده باشد، ارزیابی متن آن را با قواعدی همچون عدم مخالفت با قرآن کریم یا سنت یا حس و تجربه و برخی معیارهای دیگر لازم می داند. در مقاله حاضر، به معرفی و تبیین کیفیت نقد متون احادیث توسط البانی پرداخته شده و روش او در مواردی، غیر عالمانه دانسته شده است.
