This martyrdom epic is in some cases incompatible with certain events or historical traditions and in some cases has damaged the dignity of the infallible Imam (PBUH) or the family of Imams (PBUH) but has become the basis for the transmission of Shiite scholars in later centuries. In this review, after trying to evaluate the author's character and some explanations for his book, we attempt to point out some of these distortional attacks and to examine their historical and traditional contents. مقتل الحسینR موجود در کتاب شرح الأخبار قاضی‌نعمان از جمله مقاتل برجای‌مانده و قدیمی شیعی است که البته همچون دیگر کتب تاریخی و روایی از هجمۀ تحریفات عاشورایی مصون نمانده است، به‌طوری که ما را در برخی از مطالبِ مربوط به جریان عاشورا در تردید می‌افکند و حتی در برخی موارد شیعه را تحت‌تأثیر اعتقاداتی خاص قرار می‌دهد، به‌گونه‌ای که برخی ضد شیعه، شیعیان را پیرو عقاید خرافی دانسته‌اند. این مقتل در برخی موارد با وقایع مسلم و یا روایات تاریخی ناسازگار بوده و در مواردی شأن امام معصومR و یا خاندان معصومانk خدشه‌دار شده و پایه و اساسی برای نقل علمای شیعی در قرن‌های بعد شده است. در این بررسی کوشیده شده پس از ارزیابی شخصیت مؤلف و توضیحاتی چند دربارۀ کتاب وی، به برخی از این هجمه‌های تحریفی اشاره و مطالب تاریخی و روایی آن مورد کندوکاو قرار گیرد. https://s-hadith.kashanu.ac.ir/article_111212_390868a128cfea4a2a0042af90ba5175.pdf
