One of the words that Imam Hussain (AS) left behind on the day of Ashura, based on historical-narrative sources, is: "Sukuni sharbatan man al-ma'a" for "asking for water" from the enemies. Some have doubted the authenticity of attributing this saying to Imam (peace be upon him) and considered it fake. Asking for water is in line with fulfilling a divine duty. Also, the arguments of the opponents based on the principles of "Imam's grace" and "necessity to preserve life" in the Shiite school are incomplete. This narration is confirmed by submitting it to the current tradition and a quote from the Messenger of God (PBUH), which is useful in the above context; Because the Messenger of God (PBUH) asked for water when he and his companions were thirsty and said: "Hel Man Muqeesin Bait" and also in weighing this narration with the reason of reason, not only is there no contradiction between the two, but independent reason also confirms it. . slow because this narration includes the completion of the proof and asking for water does not mean humiliation from the point of view of the intellect.
