The validation of narrative reports in order to ensure that they are issued from Masoum is considered an important topic in Islamic hadith researches, because ensuring the issuance of hadith will establish correct epistemological, moral and jurisprudential principles. In the meantime, the traditions that bring to mind the incompatibility of the theme with religious teachings are very important for validation. Among them, there is a narration attributed to Imam Ali (a.s.), which refers to a drop of wine falling into a well and into the sea, and there are conflicts between it and jurisprudential, historical, and religious evidence. Therefore, the current research aims to evaluate the issuance of the attributed narration in order to check its compliance with the Shariah, which has examined the materials with the library method along with the description and analysis of the phrases. The result of the examination of various evidences in the issue of validity is the non-confirmation of the issuance, because its assessment indicates that the text does not match with some jurisprudential, religious and historical teachings. Also, the existence of similarities with Sunni jurisprudence and beliefs is one of the other things that makes one think that it is fake
