Sometimes the Hadiths of Imams are about a person with special characteristics, but he/she is not explicitly named, and this has caused the expression of various instances of the character (perhaps the Imams do not mean it) for example, it may be referred to term “Qa’im”. During the differenttimes, many examples and instances have been expressed for it even by the Imams. In this paper, the full meaning of “Qa’im” and is instance are mentioned, along with a comprehensive review of the relevant narrations. Different instances and the accuracy or inaccuracy of their attribution as the main meaning of “Qa’im” are expressed in other words, “Qa’im”, someone who possesses all the features mentioned in the Hadith, is introduced.Furthermore, some of the relevant narrations are raised in sub-sections and discussed with evidences in order to assess the validity of the narration in question. Despite the fact that the plethora of relevant narrations refers to a common subject, even if they are not repeated in words, they will be repeated in meaning and thus will show the validity of the subject. According to the traditions and the full meaning of “Qa’im” Imam Mahdi has been introduced as the real instance, and some reasons and solutions have been presented to distinguish the main “Qa’im” from other “Qa’ims”. Finally, the role of understanding the meaning and concept of “Qa’im” has been expressed in knowing other narrations.
