Among the contemporary works on fabricated hadiths is "al-mawzū'āt fī al-Athār wa al-Akhbār" by Hāshim Ma'rūf, a book about fabricated traditions in the Shiite and sunni sources, with an emphasis on the virtue traditions. There has been some research on the introducing, methodology and critique of this work so far. The present study, while taking advantage of these works, specifically criticizes the traditions of the virtues of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH). Although Hāshim Ma'rūf throughout his book has been analyzed tradition by Isnad and textual approach, but he has sometimes neglecting and remissive and sometimes rashly and unilaterally unilaterally judged. It seems, he judged that the tradition is fabricated by its content, and its Isnad reviews have more to confirm. His method of Isnad analysis have defects such as: generalization, neglect of first Rijāl sources, Unqualified pay attention to exaggeration (ghuluw), misrepresentation data in biography of transmitters, and unfair criticism of some traditionists and authors, no search for valid tradition sources and inadequate pay attention to the same of hadiths and hadith families, the use of disparate criteria, the insistence on the criterion of tradition agreement with reason and empirical science.
